About Me – Jahanbakhsh Amirbeygi

Jahanbakhsh Amirbeygi (born 1992) is an Iranian sculptor and contemporary artist whose practice operates at the intersection of sculpture, environmental art, and interdisciplinary research. His work engages with the fragile relationships between human beings, nature, memory, and lived experience, often unfolding through site-specific interventions, sculptural forms, and participatory or field-based processes.

He holds a B.A. in Sculpture and an M.A. in Art Studies from the University of Tehran, and is currently a PhD candidate in Visual Arts at the same institution. His academic path is closely intertwined with his artistic practice, forming a continuous inquiry rather than a separate trajectory.

Amirbeygi’s work extends beyond the studio into collaborative and context-responsive projects. He has been part of international artist networks, including Yatoo-i in South Korea, and has collaborated with collectives such as Green Guerrilla. His projects have been presented in various contexts across Iran and internationally, including Europe, East Asia, and North America.

He is also active in art education, teaching contemporary sculpture and environmental approaches to art-making at academic institutions.

درباره من – جهانبخش امیربیگی

جهانبخش امیربیگی (متولد ۱۳۷۱) هنرمند تجسمی و مجسمه‌ساز است که فعالیت او در مرز میان مجسمه‌سازی، هنر محیطی و پژوهش‌های میان‌رشته‌ای شکل می‌گیرد. آثار او به رابطه‌ی شکننده و پیچیده میان انسان، طبیعت، حافظه و تجربه زیسته می‌پردازند و اغلب در قالب مداخلات محیطی، فرم‌های مجسمه‌گونه و فرآیندهای مشارکتی یا میدانی گسترش می‌یابند.

او دارای کارشناسی مجسمه‌سازی و کارشناسی ارشد پژوهش هنر از دانشگاه تهران است و در حال حاضر دانشجوی دکتری هنرهای تجسمی در همان دانشگاه می‌باشد. مسیر آکادمیک او در امتداد فعالیت هنری‌اش شکل گرفته و بخشی از یک فرآیند پژوهشی-هنری پیوسته است.

امیربیگی در کنار فعالیت‌های فردی، در پروژه‌ها و شبکه‌های هنری بین‌المللی نیز حضور داشته است؛ از جمله گروه Yatoo-i در کره جنوبی و مجموعه Green Guerrilla. آثار او در ایران و در بسترهای بین‌المللی در اروپا، شرق آسیا و آمریکای شمالی ارائه شده‌اند.

او همچنین در حوزه آموزش هنر فعالیت دارد و در دانشگاه‌ها بر رویکردهای معاصر در مجسمه‌سازی و هنر محیطی تمرکز می‌کند.
