بیخ چراغ – استیتمنت نمایشگاه
روشنایی و تاریکی: ایدهٔ اصلی
مدتی که بر روی مجموعه «بیخ چراغ» کار میکردم، ذهنم درگیر تقابل روشنی و تاریکی بود.
از خود پرسیدم که خطوط خاکستری چگونه در مرز میان نور و سایه جهان ما را میسازند.
علاوه بر این، به حضور و غیاب نور اندیشیدم و دیدم که چگونه ادراک ما بر آن بنا میشود.
در ادامه، اندیشهها و احساسها را تصور کردم که میسوزند و خاکسترشان به افکاری تازه جان میدهد.
از روشنایی تا تاریکی: سفر شخصی
با گذر زمان و هنگام کار، ناگهان از روشنایی وارد تاریکی شدم. این تغییر برایم کنایهای تلخ بود؛
زیرا کسی که در روشنایی به دنبال تاریکی میگشت، حالا در تاریکی ناچار بود به روشنیها فکر کند.
با این حال، در دل تاریکی همیشه نشانهای از «یافتن و حضور» دیده میشود.
در مقابل، روشنایی بیش از هر چیز آکنده از «ابهام و ایهام» است.
به همین دلیل، این دو در هم تنیدهاند و تنها در کنار هم قابل درک میشوند.
ردی که باقی میماند
با وجود چنین تجربهای، ردی همواره باقی میماند؛ ردی از فهم «یافتن و حضور» و لمس «ابهام و ایهام».
این رد گاه همچون زخمی ناسور ادامه پیدا میکند.
همانطور که قدما گفتهاند: «بیخ چراغ کور است».
من نیز میگویم:
چنین است؛ کور است.
End Stem of the Light – Exhibition Statement
Light and Darkness: The Core Idea
For the time I worked on the “End Stem of the Light” series, my mind was absorbed by the contrast
between light and darkness. I asked myself how the gray lines at the boundary between light and
shadow shape our world. Beyond that, I reflected on the presence and absence of light and realized
how our perception is built upon it. I imagined thoughts and emotions burning, with their ashes
giving life to new ideas.
From Light to Darkness: A Personal Journey
Over time, and while working, I suddenly moved from light into darkness. This transition was a
bitter metaphor for someone who had searched for darkness in light, only to find themselves in
darkness thinking of the lights. However, in the heart of darkness, there is always a hint of
“finding and presence.” In contrast, light is filled with “ambiguity and nuance.” Therefore,
these two are intertwined and can only be understood together.
Traces That Remain
Despite such experiences, a trace always remains—a trace of understanding “finding and presence”
and feeling “ambiguity and nuance.” This trace persists, perhaps like an unhealed wound.
As the ancients said: “The end stem of the light is blind.”
I say the same:
it is blind.
معما نمی گویم؛
اما چون در تاریکی نشست، معنا یافت.
طنزی تلخ برای آنکه می خواست از غار برون آید و حقیقت را بی پرده دریابد.
I do not speak in riddles;
yet, because he sat in darkness, he found meaning.
A bitter irony for one who wished to emerge from the cave and behold the truth unshielded.
